The Aspinall Foundation
The Aspinall Foundation hired us on a retained basis to raise awareness and funds for their conservation work. As part of this we also manage the publicity for chairman, Damian Aspinall, and project manage all social media channels associated with the foundation and its senior staff.
We have led campaigns resulting in over 200 pieces of global coverage both on and offline around some of the foundations biggest conservation stories including the handling all media around repatriation of a group of three generations of gorillas back to their natural home in the wild.
We secured Damian Aspinall as THE authoritative go-to spokesman for all conservation stories with both the BBC and the Daily Mail.
We work closely with high level environment and conservation journalists across broadcast and print media to ensure news and updates from the foundation are proposed to the media for consideration.
Our recent campaign to celebrate the birth of an endangered black rhino saw us place the story in three major national newspapers. We also sent a BBC Breakfast team down to the safari park in Kent which resulted in the story running three times throughout the two hour program as the main feature on BBC Breakfast. To accompany this placement we ran a social media campaign on The Aspinall Foundation and BBC Breakfast platforms encouraging followers to help name the new baby rhino.
